2008-10-12 Championship was closed! New World military orienteering champions in the womens relay - Russia! Russia 2 won the first place in the mens class too. The second place for Lithuania (women) and Switzerland (men). The third place - Latvia (women) and Russia 1 (men)! Congratulation all delegations! Results you can find here.

2008-10-09    New World military orienteering champions in the long distance - Tatjana Ryabkina (Russia) and Thierry Gueorgiou (France)! Tatjana Ryabkina won the second gold medal in this championship! The second place - Ieva Sargautytė (Lithuania) and Alexey Bortnik (Russia), bronze medals for Natalia Korzhova (Russia) and Valentin Novikov (Russia). Results you can find here..

2008-09-26    Cpt.Kent Tornqvist (Sweden), official CISM Event advisor, finished his visit in Lithuania. During his three day stay, he visited terrain, inpected the routes, also visited Grand Duchess Birutė Motorised Infantry Battalion.
